Sam Chun Dang Pharm was founded in 1943 to make and sell pharmaceuticals and listed on the KOSDAQ in 2000. In 2013 it acquired Korea's largest maker of single-use eye drops, building a position in ophthalmic treatments. Its subsidiaries handle eye drops and other ophthalmic products, North American export approvals, and drug wholesaling in Japan.
