About
Poongsan makes copper and copper alloy sheets and strips and lead frame materials, while its defense business produces military and sporting ammunition and precision forgings. It has production and sales operations in the United States, China and Southeast Asia, and is developing new alloys, researching combat drones and expanding defense exports. It was spun off in 2008 from Poongsan Holdings, which was founded in 1968.
