Sama Aluminium was founded in 1969 on the basis of producing aluminum foil domestically and listed on the Korea Stock Exchange in 1980; it now trades on the KOSPI. It operates rolling, processing and electronic parts sales divisions. Its rolling division makes aluminum foil for LIB cathode current collectors and pouches, and its processing division makes retort packaging and ALU-ALU packaging for pharmaceuticals.
