GS Engineering & Construction builds and operates buildings, apartments and refining and petrochemical plants through 4 divisions: building and housing, plant, infrastructure and new business development. Founded in 1969 under a different name, it listed on the KOSPI in 1981 and has 138 consolidated subsidiaries. It gained water and wastewater operations by acquiring Inima in 2012, and in 2025 it signed a share sale agreement with an Abu Dhabi state energy company pending regulatory approval.
