Hyundai Steel produces flat steel as well as bars and sections, supplying the construction, automotive and shipbuilding industries. Founded in 1953 and listed on the KOSPI in 1987, it became Korea's second blast-furnace steelmaker when its integrated steelworks started operating in 2010. Its subsidiaries include steel product makers and steel service centers in 9 countries.
