About
Taewoong was founded in 1981 as a forging company, took its current name in 1989 and listed on the KOSDAQ in 2001. It set up a steelmaking division in 2016 to produce the ingots and round blooms used in its forgings, creating an integrated production system. It makes custom forged parts for wind power, shipbuilding, power generation including nuclear, SMR and CASK, petrochemical and offshore plants, and industrial machinery.
