Sampyo Cement was founded in 1990, listed on the KOSDAQ in 2001, absorbed another cement company in 2010 and took its current name in 2017. Part of Sampyo Group since 2015 and described as Korea's first cement company, it produces cement at its own plant and sells cement and related products through shipping terminals nationwide. A ready-mixed concrete unit set up in 2021 now operates in 6 regions after a plant acquisition in 2026.
