About
Naver was founded in 1999 and spun off its game business into a separate company in 2013. Built on Korea's No. 1 internet search portal, it earns revenue from search, advertising, commerce and local place services, and from payment and financial platforms. It has 95 consolidated subsidiaries as of 2026 and is expanding its global C2C portfolio, including the acquisition of Wallapop.
