LG Display was founded in 1985, took over an LCD business in 1998 and mainly makes and sells TFT-LCD and OLED products. It has 19 consolidated subsidiaries, with production and sales units in North America, Europe and China. Its sales split into IT 36%, mobile and other 36%, TV 18% and auto 10%, and its top 10 customers account for about 92% of sales.
