Hyundai Motor is a global automaker founded in 1967 with 166 consolidated subsidiaries, including financial affiliates. Its vehicle segment makes, sells and services cars, its finance segment provides installment financing and payment processing, and its other segment covers rail vehicles and defense. It is adding production capacity, including HMGMA in the United States, a plant in India and an EV plant in Korea, toward sales targets for 2030. These are its preferred shares, which usually carry no voting rights and trade separately from the common stock.
